UKRAINE: Raw sugar imports at zero but Kazakh exports reach 116,183 tonnes

Ukraine has imported no raw cane sugar as of August 1, 2012, under its WTO TRQ, according to Agra-Net.
The quota stands at 267,800 metric tonnes and includes a special allocation of 260 tonnes for Paraguay.
White sugar exports from Ukraine to Kazakhstan through the territory of Russia reached 116,183 tonnes between the start of the year and July 31, Russian rail transportation figures showed.
Shipments during July amounted to 21,663 tonnes, down slightly from 24,029 in June.
