South Africa's 2012/13 sugar output is estimated at 2.177 million metric tonnes slightly down from a previous forecast of 2.18 million tonnes, according to Reuters.
Sugarcane crush was forecast at 18.590 million tonnes from 18.728 million tonnes, the South African Sugar Association said in a statement posted on its website.
