AS Solar Projekte GmbH (Hannover, Germany) has completed a 5.8 MW PV project in Groß Munzel (Lower Saxony, Germany), according to Solar Server.
The 90,000 square metre PV plant is comprised of almost 25,000 PV modules by REC and LG. The PV project is expected to produce 5 Million kWh of solar power annually, enough to provide electricity for almost 1,500 families, notes AS Solar Projekte.
The PV plant was built on the grounds of a former sugar plant. Following the completion, it will be connected to the middle-voltage grid of utility E.ON Avacon. The plant features SMA inverters.
