DJ MARKET TALK: ICE Sugar Advances as Weather Threatens Supply 14:35 EDT - Raw sugar prices ended higher -- but couldn't maintain a break above 22.80c/lb -- as worries about low supply supported the market. Brazil's harvest has been delayed due to rains earlier in the season, and further rain could continue to damage the crop. Meanwhile, India's output is threatened by unusual dryness. "The weather looks likely to reduce available supplies to the market," says Jack Scoville, vice president at Price Futures Group, in a note. ICE sugar for October delivery settled up 1.2% at 22.73c./lb.
