An ongoing drought in China's southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will reduce sugar output, according to Dow Jones.
Output in the region, which produces more than 60% of China's sugar, will likely fall by 8% to 7 million metric tonnes, the Guangxi Economic News Online said.
The drought will continue into April, and the impact will intensify, Guangxi's meteorological department said.
