Two state-owned plantation companies have bought a combined 61,000 metric tonnes of white sugar for delivery by April 15, according to Bloomberg.
PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia bought 25,500 tonnes of sugar produced in Thailand for US$607.50 a tonne, president director Bambang Prijono said on Thursday.
