Cabinet will meet next Tuesday to discuss the problems facing the sugar industry and the solutions required says prime minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama, according to the Fiji Times.
Bainimarama says an audit on the Sugar industry has been carried out by accounting firm Deloitte and a report has been compiled.
He revealed this after questions from FBC News on the continuous disruptions to the country's sugar mills this crushing season.
"We have at the moment a report by Deloitte which will soon be handed to cabinet - we will discuss that and then let Fiji know what's the story."
