DJ MARKET TALK: Liffe Sugar Follows NY To 6-Month Highs 1056 GMT [Dow Jones] Liffe white sugar futures trade up, following NY higher as the U.S. market hits new peaks of 20.91 cents a pound. Further cuts to forecasts for next year's crop from analysts are helping the "general bullish macro flow," says Sucden. The whites fund roll is underway with intermittent 100-lot flows hitting the October/December spread with between 5,000-7,000 more expected before the October expiry on September 15, Sucden adds. NY will be closed Monday. October +$0.60, or 0.1%, at $592.80/ton.
