Course Instructor

Marwan Soliman

Marwan holds a PhD in Economics. He has been in the food and agriculture sector for 27 years and trading commodities, mainly dairy and sugar, for the past 16 years. During his career, he has worked for international trading houses such as Sucden, Ecoval Dairy Trade and Hottlet Sugar Trading. His most recent appointment was as Senior Sugar Trader for Sudzucker AG where he headed the Mena Region business. Part of his role there was to train junior traders, which he will now continue with through Sugaronline for the global sugar industry.
