DJ MARKET TALK: ICE Sugar Consolidates Higher, Jobs Add Support 1443 EST [Dow Jones] - ICE sugar settled higher as the oversold market got a lift with commodities on bullish U.S. February jobs data, analysts say. May sugar settled 52 points higher, or 2.4%, at 22.19 cents a pound. Prospects for brighter economic outlooks followed a better-than-expected jobs report, pushing prices for softs and crude higher. Sugar could gain more upward traction in the near term on end-user buying and technical chart indications, they say. Liffe May white sugar settled $17.50 higher, or 2.87%, at $609.50 a ton.
