TUNISIA: Man sells whites at US$593 C&F

Tunisia bought white sugar in a tender held on Wednesday at US$593 per metric tonne cost and freight from trade house ED&F Man, according to Reuters.
They said Tunisia had tendered to buy 14,000-18,000 tonnes for May arrival, and believed that this was the tonnage range actually bought, representing one cargo.
There was no immediate comment from Man.
One trader said Tunisia had also tendered to buy raw sugar but no deal was done.
