RUSSIA: New policy coming for raw duty imports

Russia's raw sugar import duty will be calculated every month in accordance with the average monthly ICE raw sugar prices in New York over the previous month and not three previous months as has been done before, according to Dow Jones.
The decision was taken by the governmental customs and tariffs regulation subcommittee chaired Thursday by Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov.
The subcommittee explained that the decision reflected the need to react quicker to the fluctuation of prices on the world market.
