DJ MARKET TALK: ICE Sugar Consolidates Lower Amid Firm Dollar 0811 EDT [Dow Jones] - ICE world raw sugar prices are weaker in consolidation as commodities slip on the stronger dollar. May sugar is down 16 points at 18.48 cents a pound and the July contract is 21 points lower at 18.10. Analysts say sugar is still trying to find its footing after dropping from 29-year highs while the market looks for buying interest at lows. Concerns about Greece's debt and ideas that more Asian central banks could raise interest rates is keeping the greenback firm. Softs, metals and crude are weaker. Liffe May white sugar is down $6.50 at $521.60 a ton.
