DJ MARKET TALK: Liffe Sugar Flat But Fundamentals Support 1035 GMT [Dow Jones] Liffe white sugar futures trade largely flat but overall markets are looking "perky" due to tight fundamentals, says a trader. "We're almost in proper breakout mode." The white premium has pulled back due to gains in NY, with the Oct/Oct at $129 from $132 Wednesday. Going forward, prices are seen firm with potential to the upside due to high demand and poor output in some areas, he says. "Even with India at a 26 million-ton crop the market is still balanced."
