DJ MARKET TALK: ICE Sugar Climbs Past 6-Mo Top In Bullish Market 0938 EDT [Dow Jones] - ICE October sugar rose past six-month highs Tuesday morning, supported by the market's bullish fundamentals of tight global supplies and strong demand for the sweetener. Port congestion continues to slow exports out of top sugar producer Brazil. Scattered rainfall may interrupt the Brazil cane harvest early this week but will help recharge soil moisture after a prolonged dry spell. Nearby October raw sugar is up 0.51 cent, or 2.5%, at 21.11 cents a pound.
