DJ MARKET TALK: Liffe Sugar Off Highs On Profit-Taking 1058 GMT [Dow Jones] Liffe white sugar futures trade higher, making new 6-month highs. The market opened strongly after a firm close Tuesday but has pulled back on profit-taking, says a trader. Tight fundamentals point to further gentle progress to the upside, although any bearish news could force a sharp correction, he says. The white premium has been slowly picking up, rising to $135 on the Oct/Oct contracts and $87 on the Mar/Mar. October +$1.10, or 0.2%, at $606.90/ton.
