Vellore Cooperative Sugar Mill, located in Tamil Nadu, started the 2025/26 crushing season on Dec. 16, planning to crush about 125,000 metric tonnes of sugarcane, which is lower than its total capacity of 430,000 tonnes and the volume crushed last season, according to the New Indian Express.Tags: Production, News excerpt, 2025/26
