Sugar mills in Brazil's Paraíba state, in the northeast region, reduced sugar production by 27.2% so far in the 2025/26 season due to lower cane availability and increased diversion for ethanol output, according to a statement released by industry association Sindalcool-PB on Jan. 28.Tags: Production, north-northeast, 2025/26

Consultancy Datagro estimates that 10 million metric tonnes of sugarcane will be crushed by sugar mills in Brazil's centre-south until the end of the 2025/26 current season, in addition to the volume crushed from April to the end of December, Datagro said in a post on its website.Countries: Brazil
