Sugar mills in Brazil's centre-south region have crushed 603.67 million metric tonnes of sugarcane from the start of the 2025/26 season in April 2025 through March 16 this year, a 2.2% decline from the volume processed in the same period in the previous harvest, according to sugarcane industry association UNICA, reports Sugaronline.Tags: Ethanol, Production, UNICA, industry, centre-south, 2025/26
