Chinese sugar prices are jumping around on the back of ICE #11 while liquid sugar imports have hit some road blocks.

Sugar prices have jumped significantly over the past month in response to the volatility on ICE #11. On Friday, May 14, the Zhengzhou futures spot month closed at CNY5,565 per tonne while in key markets, prices were quoted as follows: CNY per tonne May 14, 2021 April 14, 2021 Guangxi Spot Price 5,625 5,275 Yunnan
