Sugarcane processor Usina Jacarezinho, owned by Grupo Maringá, plans to crush 2.4 million metric tonnes of sugarcane in 2024/25, a decline from 2.5 million tonnes in 2023/24, due to adverse weather conditions including a decrease in rainfall and high temperatures, according to Novacana.Tags: Production, News excerpt, estimates
