Philippines: Philippines Adjusted Sugar Marketing Year

The Philippines’ Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) adjusted the sugar crop year (CY) or marketing year (MY) to October 1-September 30, replacing the previous September 1-August 31 MY cycle.
Ending stock balances at the end of September 30, 2025, will now be treated as carry-over stocks or beginning stock balances starting the week ending on October 5, 2025, marking the start of MY 2025-2026. This amendment was issued prior to the release of the Sugar Order No.1 for MY 2025-2026.
