Sugar production in the European Union is projected to reach 16.6 million metric tonnes in 2025/26, higher than the previous estimate of 16 million tonnes and last year's 16.56 million tonnes output, according to an updated estimate released by the European Commission’s Expert Group Common Market Organisation on Arable Crops in late April, reports Sugaronline.Tags: Production, estimates, 2025/26
