The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has reduced its estimate for the country's 2026/27 sugar production to 8.95 million short tonnes, raw value (STRV), from 9 million estimated last month and 9.26 million STRV projected for the current season, according to the World Agricultural Supply and Demand (WASDE) report released on Aug. 12, reports Sugaronline.Tags: consumption, imports, Production, estimates, USDA, WASDE, 2026/27
