Mexico Announces Increased Sugar Export Quota to the United States – 8th March 2016

All of USDA’s sugar reports in one place: a mix of monthly Sugar and Sweeteners Outlooks, import/export data and international GAIN reports. Using data collected by US Foreign Service officers working in more than 130 countries the USDA’S Global Agriculture Information Network (GAIN) reports provide timely information on the agricultural economy, products and issues in foreign countries that are likely to have an impact on United States agricultural production and trade.

<p>On March 29, 2016, the Secretariat of Economy (SE) published in the Diario Oficial (Federal Register), an announcement containing an increase to the maximum quota allotment of sugar to be exported to the United States for the sugar cycle 2015/16. &nbsp;The new quota is 1,178,115.79 metric tons raw value.</p>
