All of USDA’s sugar reports in one place: a mix of monthly Sugar and Sweeteners Outlooks, import/export data and international GAIN reports. Using data collected by US Foreign Service officers working in more than 130 countries the USDA’S Global Agriculture Information Network (GAIN) reports provide timely information on the agricultural economy, products and issues in foreign countries that are likely to have an impact on United States agricultural production and trade.

<p>These rains come after the sugar industry endured two of the worst drought-affected production seasons in the past 20 years in South Africa.&nbsp; Hence, post forecast that for the 2012/13 season, the South African sugar cane crop will increase by a million tons or by six percent to 17.9 MMT.&nbsp; </p>
