USDA Sugar Reports

All of USDA’s sugar reports in one place: a mix of monthly Sugar and Sweeteners Outlooks, import/export data and international GAIN reports. Using data collected by US Foreign Service officers working in more than 130 countries the USDA’S Global Agriculture Information Network (GAIN) reports provide timely information on the agricultural economy, products and issues in foreign countries that are likely to have an impact on United States agricultural production and trade.

<p>Hence, sugar production in the 2011/12 season is forecasted to increase to 650,000 tons.&nbsp; Sugar cane production in the 2010/11 season was 4.9 million tons producing 582,019 tons of sugar, three percent down from the previous season due to lower quality sugar.&nbsp; </p>
