By USDA

10th February 2020

All of USDA’s sugar reports in one place: a mix of monthly Sugar and Sweeteners Outlooks, import/export data and international GAIN reports. Using data collected by US Foreign Service officers working in more than 130 countries the USDA’S Global Agriculture Information Network (GAIN) reports provide timely information on the agricultural economy, products and issues in foreign countries that are likely to have an impact on United States agricultural production and trade.

The Ministry of Health of Sri Lanka introduces a new regulation under the section 32 of the Food Act, No. 26 of 1980, in consultation with the Food Advisory Committee. The new regulation is cited as the Food (Color Coding for Sugar, Salt and Fat) Regulations 2019.
