Moscow Sugar Semi-Annial 2015

All of USDA’s sugar reports in one place: a mix of monthly Sugar and Sweeteners Outlooks, import/export data and international GAIN reports. Using data collected by US Foreign Service officers working in more than 130 countries the USDA’S Global Agriculture Information Network (GAIN) reports provide timely information on the agricultural economy, products and issues in foreign countries that are likely to have an impact on United States agricultural production and trade.

<p>A domestic supply of sugar beets that is higher than last year will result in higher domestic production of white sugar from beets (beet sugar).&nbsp; FAS/Moscow increased its forecast of Russia&rsquo;s beet sugar production to 4.6 MMT, a 6.8 percent increase over last year&rsquo;s level, which FAS/Moscow estimated at 4.35 MMT.
