Philippines: Sugar Semi-annual

Declining sugarcane planting areas and weather disturbances including the ongoing El Niño are expected to affect sugar production. Post forecasts no sugar exports following the recent Sugar Order (SO) No. 1 allocating all production to domestic consumption.
