Select Sugar Production and Trade Seen Slightly Lower | Sugar | Mexico City | Mexico

All of USDA’s sugar reports in one place: a mix of monthly Sugar and Sweeteners Outlooks, import/export data and international GAIN reports. Using data collected by US Foreign Service officers working in more than 130 countries the USDA’S Global Agriculture Information Network (GAIN) reports provide timely information on the agricultural economy, products and issues in foreign countries that are likely to have an impact on United States agricultural production and trade.

<p>Sugar production for marketing year 2014/15 (Oct/Sept) is forecast to be about 6.3 MMT-RV.&nbsp; Sugar production for MY 2013/14 was revised downward to 6.382 MMT-RV due to adverse weather, including heavy rains.&nbsp; The sugar export forecast for MY 2014/15 was revised downward to 1.7 MMT-RV.&nbsp; Exports for MY 2013/14 are still expected at 2.543 MMT-RV.&nbsp;
