All of USDA’s sugar reports in one place: a mix of monthly Sugar and Sweeteners Outlooks, import/export data and international GAIN reports. Using data collected by US Foreign Service officers working in more than 130 countries the USDA’S Global Agriculture Information Network (GAIN) reports provide timely information on the agricultural economy, products and issues in foreign countries that are likely to have an impact on United States agricultural production and trade.

Costa Rica’s sugar cane production is forecast to decline 0.5 percent in MY 2019/2020. Sugar production is expected to decline 2.45 percent from 442,187 MT in MY 2018/2019 to 431,325 MT in MY 2019/2020.
