Sugar: World Markets and Trade

This biannual report, published in May and November, includes data on U.S. and global trade, production, consumption and stocks, as well as analysis of developments affecting world trade in sugar.

Global production for 2019/20 is estimated down 6 million tons to 174 million primarily due to the 5-million ton drop in India resulting from lower area and expected yields.
