Sugar prices are increasing and crushing and slicing are delayed while there are concerns about inflation moving towards the new year period.

The Zhengzhou futures first and second months, November and January, closed on November 15 at CNY5,558 and CNY6,085 per metric tonne, respectively, compared to October 20 when they were CNY5,564 and CNY5,893 per tonne.
