Sugaronline EU/UK Sugar Report – 3rd April, 2023

European farmers are beginning the 2023/24 campaign sowing sugar beet seed in generally good conditions across the northern European plain from Poland to France, and in East Anglia. The European Commission forecasts that the area sown to beet in the EU of 27 member states (EU27) will be 3% lower than the five year average.
