USDA Sugar and Sweeteners Outlook – 18th October, 2023

In the October 2023 World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE), Mexico’s sugar production in 2023/24 is reduced by 225,000 metric tons (MT), actual weight to 5.575 million amid widespread drought conditions. Mexican imports in 2023/24 are projected to increase by 277,000 MT to 322,000 to compensate for the lower production, meet domestic needs and
